Project leader Martina Kramarić and project collaborator Ana Mihaljević participated in the winter school Winter School of Handwritten Text Recognition of Medieval Manuscripts, which was held online during November and December and in person in Vienna on 29 and 30 January 2024. The workshop was organised by the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Martina Kramarić took part in the Old Czech working group, while Ana Mihaljević participated in the Medieval Latin group. The programme focused on training new models for optical character recognition of medieval manuscripts using the Transkribus platform.
